5 days left

Confirmed our flights today and we leave on Tuesday morning!! Because it's so last minute I had a hard time finding flights. We were very limited on our options. But, it's booked, and that's one huge thing to cross off my list. We fly back hom on Sept. 4th....with Jada! She's coming home. Not sure I'll post anything else before we leave b/c I have to pack!! I'm elated and crazy nervous at the same time. Thanks for your prayers along the way!!

I'm so in love

God is so kind. When things get tough and I feel so discouraged, He lifts me up. Every single time. This picture came today. My heart is so full of love and longing for this little girl. I just can't wait for the day to hold her in my arms forever.

Going through the motions

So much has been going on in the last two weeks. I have lots of pictures and things to share, but just don't feel like posting much. Life is busy yet everything seems to just be on hold waiting for news from Ethiopia. Every day I think "this is the day". I plead with God that the birth certificate will come in and we'll get a travel date. One moment I have total peace that God will make this happen in His perfect time, then I get so frustrated that He's not moving mountains to bring Jada home right now. Funny thing this earthly body that just can't quite fully grasp the mind of God. Life just keeps on happening and I feel like I'm just going through the motions.
