Good "Clean" Fun

When it rains a lot, like it did last Friday, our backyard becomes a lake. The boys decided to take advantage of this since our pool was still too cold to swim in. Look at Quinn and Kade grinning in the first picture. They are cheering Cole on and telling him to "get dirty, sit down, splash Cole". He loves attention and definitely knows when the boys are laughing at him. So, of course, he sat down and got dirty. Looks like Carson is enjoying this too.

The end result. I'm not sure why they are both hunching over looking like little monkeys. :) By the way, Quinn's shirt is supposed to be white. More laundry!

You seem like a way more laid back mom than me. I mean really, how fun are you=) Good luck with the shirt!

Oh my word! Those pictures are too funny! I think it's so funny that Quinn & Kade were telling Cole to get dirty! Good luck with the white shirt! You are so much nicer than I am...I always tell Noah to just stay inside so that he doesn't get dirty. :) Sometimes I feel bad for him because he'll just stand at the window looking out at the neighborhood kids playing and I feel like I'm depriving him of fun. But oh well...at least he's clean. :) I'm getting better. He's now free to roam around the deck. I think the sand box is going to force me to be more relaxed!

Hope the boys are feeling better! Give them hugs from us all and tell them we missed them!

Oh...and you forgot your cake last night! Michael was tempted to call you and have you come back to get it, but I assured him you wouldn't want to turn around just for cake. :) Thanks again for bringing that stuff for us last night!

Oh yeah, we gotta thank the good Lord for bleach! (That's why I think white is sometimes the best for kids!) :)

How fun - boys will be boys. Mine were just outside going through the slip n slide. That lasted for about 2 minutes until they unhooked the hose and made a water slide out of our swingset and then jumped in the muddy marsh that is now our backyard. Memories.

Yikes!! I'm completely dreading these days when Brant gets older. Maybe he'll take after Sydney. She hates getting dirty. :)
