Seeking to Save

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend. I have lots I could post about but instead I've spent the last two nights looking into grocery deals. I'd love to cut my "Walmart bill" down each month. I feel like Walmart has pretty good prices but still think I could be doing more. I've looked at several different things (The Grocery Game, My Grocery Deals, CVS/ECB, Money Saving Mom, etc.) and am just not sure what to start with. I'm wondering if anyone out there has found a good system or has tried any of these things. Any good advice??

Yea- Go ahead and add me to your list! People in the desert definitely decorate for Christmas- but it doesn't seem right without the snow to go with the lights! (But I do like the Temp. better!)

I think I gave you all my good advice last night. :) I will be interested to see what other people have to say about saving money on their grocery bill.

Another website that I use that I forgot about last night is The Bargain Shopper Lady. She does mostly online shopping deals like free shipping at places or discounts. www.bargainshopperlady.com

Good luck!

I just ran into another new website for you to check out www.stretchingabuckblog.com If you scroll down on the right side there is a list of current grocery deal posts and Kroger is on there, so you might want to check that out.

Also read on the post about Meijer because I just printed off a coupone for $1/1 Pillsbury Grands biscuits which also happen to be on sale this week at Meijer!

Maybe you should do a once a week shopping trip here at Meijer so you can take advantage of their great deals! :)

I really miss Aldi! I saved so much there and we liked most of the stuff. Esp. their 'gourmet' line and the Fit N Active. Love the meatballs. I'm trying to figure out how to save down here without that option, and groceries are A LOT more expensive. FYI: I live two minutes from the world's second largest WalMart. Seriously. You need to come visit me.
Love your blog!
