I just finished reading this amazing book by Richard Stearns, President of World Vision. I highly recommend it!
In the introduction Stearns says "...being a Christian , or follower of Jesus Christ, requires much more than just having a personal transforming relationship with God. It also entails a public and transforming relationship with the world".
I think it was Keith Green who said that "this generation of believers is responsible for this generation of souls". Did you know that over 26,500 children die every day of preventable causes related to their poverty? Did you know that if your income is more than $25,000 a year, you are wealthier than approximately 90 percent of the world's population? What does God expect of us? What is the "whole gospel"?
Please take the time to get this book from your library and read it!

I was just at the Christian Audio website where a friend recently shared with me that each month they have 1 featured book that you can download the full audio book of for FREE:). I have used it b/f and they really do give you their featured free book for that month with no strings attached. I went to check and see what May's free book is and I recognized it as the book you had just blogged about. I'll definitely be downloading it! Thanks for the recommendation.
