Familiar Sights

How do you know you're where you want to be? Familiar sights. We went to Missouri a couple times a year growing up to visit my mom's family. When we saw the St. Louis Arch we knew we were 1/2 way there! We were going in the right direction. Well, I've been thinking about the familiar sights of home. When I see these, I know all is well and this is definitely home. :) Cole has been climbing upstairs to his bedroom whenever he feels things aren't quite the way he'd like them. He goes to his bed, grabs his blankie and returns downstairs. He carries his blankie around while sucking his thumb. I still think this is soo cute. But I'm sure when he's five, I'll be blogging about trying to break this habit!

Kade loves to push a barstool over to the pantry and dig through the snacks. I can always count on about five minutes after any given meal (breakfast, lunch, or supper) he will come and say "Mom, me have snack now?". What? We just ate! Bart suggested moving the snacks to a higher cupboard. I tried this, but then instead of climbing on a chair, he just climbed on the counter.

Carson loves to play the computer and gets 1 hr. a day for his computer time. Quinn is always at his side. He will sit and watch Carson play the whole time, with the exception of going to get a snack if Carson asks. At first this annoyed me and I would tell Carson to stop "bossing" Quinn. But, I've learned that Quinn enjoys helping him out.

Four boys and they are all different....thank goodness. :)

I thought Linsey was the only one that could eat a snack right after eating. We time her to see how long it is until she says "Can I have a nak now?" She can even eat a great dinner and still need a "Nak". I think it is just their age!! It was really funny to see that you hear this too!! I hope you are having a great week!!

Awww...we love those boys!

Thanks to Kader now Noah also digs in your snack cupboard everytime he's over! I should probably send a bag of groceries to restock your pantry next time I bring Noah over!
