Our family baseball got interrupted when my dad brought out the gun. Carson was thrilled to shoot a real gun! He's been asking for one for quite a while, but something tells me we should wait. I don't know, 8 yrs. old, probably not quite ready for a gun. What do ya think? :)
Fishing.
Singing and playing guitars for my grandma in the nursing home. She loved it! My dad, niece, and brother in law all play great. The rest of us try to sing. The good thing is most of those in the home can't hear too well anyway. Ha!
I feel so blessed as I record these special family times. God has been so good to our family. We all live relatively close (3 hrs. is relative, right?), we're in good health, we get along, and we have fun together. We're able to worship together, play together, rejoice together, grieve together...etc. I am thankful for these relationships. I can't imagine going through life without the support of family. So, thanks to all my family (both sides!) for loving us and sharing life with us.

Life is much easier with a great family isn't it!! We have been blessed with great families. I am also very thankful for your family. You do have a great one!!
Awww....I feel all warm and fuzzy inside! We feel very blessed to be a part of the same family! I'm so glad we are able to spend time together and that our boys will grown up knowing each other and being friends! We love all of you so much and are thankful we get along so well!
And I think you are making a wise decision on waiting on the gun for Carson! Let it be a special thing at Dad & Mom's and then you don't have to worry about it going off at something it shouldn't!
Where did you go fishing? It looks like we missed out on a bunch of fun after we left. Oh well...there's always next time!
What happened to visiting Bluffton while you were in Indiana? Maybe next time we'll have to meet you in Francesville. Jaxson will be jealous of the gun picture. He's been talking about a BB gun, that's real enough for me.
Looks like a wonderful family time spent over labor day weekend. You DO HAVE a WONDERFUL family might I add. Id be honored to have your parents as my parents.
Oh and 3 hours...count it a blessing. YOu don't realize how close you live until you live way to far away. Id take 3 hours anyday!!!!
We as parents are the ones who are really blessed the most with such wonderful children, their spouses and then our BEST grandchildren!! We thank God for each one of you!!
It was a very spedial weekend and Jamie I am sure glad you didn't know they were here so we didn't have to share them!! :)
